Had car in for smog certificate. Called ahead and made appointment--was serviced on time and less wait than expected--not to mention TV, wifi and Halloween candy! Really nice customer service :)

I do my best to try and be objective when trying to rate a business; however, I really do believe that Complete Car Care deserves every single star for the exceptional care that they provided me. I live in San Diego and only pass by Carlsbad for family, but I am willing to make the extra journey up here for all my vehicle services in the future. Easily the best place I've ever visited!Besides the masterful, professional, and efficient service, their staff feels genuinely authentic in assisting you with any vehicle problem They never feel like they are out to simply take your cash and upsell you on services you don't really need. They are very fair and explain everything for what you are paying for and will do what they can to accommodate you. "Guest-friendly" is a fair term to use as they have a shuttle service that will provide you transportation while they work on your car!I had my brakes completely redone but man did I get my car back quickly! It's nice not fearing for my life when I'm behind the wheel now haha. Big shout out to Lou for helping me out with my car diagnostic too and providing additional advice on the car. And my manners failed me but thank you so much for the nice woman who was my shuttle driver both back home and to the shop. She was very sweet and deserves the same praise as Lou and the guys who worked on my car. Seriously keep up the great work guys! I'll be coming up soon to get an oil change!

I brought my FJ Cruiser in for an alignment to take advantage of the coupon I got in the mail. Let's just say things got a little complicated from there. It turns out my truck had multiple problems (tires were cupping; wheels needed balancing; rotors had hot spots, etc.) I just appreciated the approach these guys (and Lou, in particular) took with advising me of the problems, and working patiently yet quickly with me to get everything solved. Suffice it to say, I was there longer than I wanted to be on a Saturday morning. But the terrific service, communication, and value I got from my visit to Complete Car Care made my experience a lot more bearable. I recommend this place, and will definitely be back.

Evan and Lou were very friendly and customer focused. They helped coordinate my smog check and certification. They let me know how long it would take and were very efficient at getting It completed on time. I had read on Yelp that they were 5 stars and they were consistent with the reviews. Thank you Evan and Lou for making it a positive experience.

Well they have better coffee while you wait than at Bob Baker Service. They are fast and friendly. I will be back.

I was running a ton of errands in Encinitas one day and I thought while I was in the area I would drop in to have my car smog checked. Lou was at the front desk and the place was really busy. I asked him about getting my car smogged and he said that it was really booked tight but if I wanted to hang out he would try to fit me in or I could make an appointment for an alternate day. I said that I would wait for a bit and sat down in the lobby which, is well equipped for waiting with a tv, complimentary coffee, water and snacks. I was waiting for about 5 minutes when Lou came and found me in the waiting area and said after speaking with the smog tech it looked like it would be a fairly long wait for me. He then suggested that if I had other things to do in the area I could do that and call him in an hour and he would let me know how it looked. I sincerely appreciated Lou's effort especially since I looked like a leisure time mom in her requisite yoga pants with plenty of time to kill...he valued my time as if I was an important executive by offering me this option. At his suggestion, I went about my errands and called Lou in an hour and he said he would be able to fit me in in 10 minutes if I wanted come back. True to his word, I got back to Complete Car Care and was in and out of there in less than a half hour. Everyone I came into contact with here at CCC was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. If I would have had to wait...it wouldn't have been an awful place to do so but it was nice that I was able to accomplish so much in one day without wasting time sitting around. Thanks to Lou and the team for outstanding customer service. I will definitely be back.

Got appt. for smog check, and when we showed up realized that we needed brake check as well. I thought the grinding noises might be the "self-adjusting" rear brakes, but they informed me it was actually the front brakes nearly worn down. They also checked brake fluid and recommended flush/change, and offered mid- and premium- level brake pad replacement, and rear-brake adjustment. We declined the rear-brake adj, since they were self-adjusting, and not yet worn. Work was done as promised in couple of hours, and they actually checked rear brake adjustment anyway, to prevent a premature return visit. Satisfied with service.

Updated rating - Clearly a communication problem with both parties.at first visit. The company invited me back and completed the smog appointment with no problems.I really appreciate the follow up and interest in cultivating a customer base.
